The short rules.

What this is

A public directory for solo founders: a profile, what you build, what you use, where you are, and who you follow. It is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, and we may change or stop features.

Your account

• — You must be at least 16 to have one.
• — One person, one account. Do not share it, and keep your password to yourself.
• — Everything done from your account is treated as done by you.
• — Usernames are first come, first served. We may reclaim one that impersonates a person or a company, or that is needed for the site itself.

Your content stays yours

You keep every right to what you post. By posting it you allow us to store it and show it on the site — that is what publishing a profile means, and nothing more. We do not claim ownership, we do not licence your work to anyone else, and we do not use it to train anything.

Post only what is yours to post: you are responsible for having the rights to the text, logos and photos you upload.

What gets an account suspended

Do not:

• — Impersonate a person or an organisation, or claim credentials you do not have.
• — Harass, threaten or abuse anyone, here or in direct messages.
• — Post spam, scams, malware, or links whose purpose is to deceive.
• — Post sexual content, or anything illegal where you are or where the server is.
• — Scrape the site at scale, hammer it automatically, or work around the rate limits.
• — Try to reach other people’s accounts, messages or data.

Anyone can report content with the report link on a profile. A suspended account is hidden from everyone and cannot post; its owner still sees it, with the reason, and can write to us. Suspensions are reversible — deletion of specific content is not.

Paid plans and spotlights

• — Plans are subscriptions, charged in advance for the period you pick, and renew until you cancel.
• — Cancel any time in billing. The plan then runs to the end of the period you already paid for; we do not pro-rate the remainder.
• — Spotlights are one-off placements for a fixed number of days, booked into the next free slot.
• — Prices are in US dollars and may change; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
• — Payments are handled by Stripe. If something is wrong with a charge, write to us — statutory refund rights apply whatever this page says.
• — A suspension for breaking the rules above does not entitle you to a refund of the current period.

Ending it

You can delete your account at any time from your account page; it takes effect immediately and cancels any active subscription. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and will say why unless doing so would make the problem worse.

The dull but necessary part

The site is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for what other people post, for what you find through links here, or for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death, personal injury, fraud, or your rights as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the law of Türkiye, and its courts have jurisdiction — unless the law where you live gives you the right to your own courts, which it may.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, the date at the top changes and we will say so on the site. Continuing to use Solopreneur after that means the new terms apply.
